Okay, this is a record number of images in a post for me…..I really don’t know what happened here so I apologise if its a tad too long to view … perhaps it was the 5 biscuits I smashed down as I was editing? perhaps it was that I haven’t blogged for ages and now have, dare I say it! “BLOG GUILT”? yes this is something that affects photogs from time to time…have I blogged enough? when was my last blog post? will people like my blog? is anyone going to leave any comments? should I post the one of the kissing or the one of them holding hands on the blog? aaarrrggghh it goes on and on…sometimes you find yourself blogging in your sleep lol ! okay I am exagerating a bit here now….so I am going to leave you with this 2011 wedding that my assistant Rachael kept bugging me to blog blog blog !!!!! so here it is and all the lowdown on where to get this look:

Okay I admit I am not the best morning person on the planet ! there I said it…hide this post from my hubbie ! BUT sometimes things don’t go to plan { well actually the weather a LOT lately !} and we had to re-schedule this e session for Jessica and Ryan before they had to fly back home AND it went from a rainy Friday afternoon to this glorious sun shine filled Sunday morning. So you see the point to me telling you all of this is that sometimes it is so worth it to go outside your comfort zone {yes that would be getting up at 5am on a Sunday for me !} and just running with it. I am so glad we did and the result was this gorgeous morning light enveloping Jessica and Ryan as they posed for me during our session. I am happy to report that I did get my morning shot of coffee albeit just a couple of hours later !! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in April if its anything to go by their e session its going to be beautiful Enjoy xx

I have to say last year seems like eons ago, I was doing so many weddings and amongst it all at the end of the year I was very fortunate to meet quite a few wonderful families all looking for some lovely family portraits leading up to christmas. I feel terrible that up till this point I never got the chance to show off these beautiful people, blogging was just not something I had time for. Well christmas has come and gone and the rain is certainly keeping things a little more quiet than usual so what better way to spend a rainy day than to catch up on featuring our wonderful portrait sessions. I have to say I love all the wonderful clothes my families bring to their sessions…I have to restrain myself from going online and shopping searching for these goodies ….. If you would love a session just like this don’t hesitate to contact us, mothers day is just around the corner till we meet again x

Every now and then you get the urge to break free from the norm and do something for yourself. I had eyed off this warship since it had docked on dry land in my favourite patch, ideas swirling in my mind to do a 1940′s inspired couple shoot, albeit a slightly modern version ! This glorious ship as far as can be told was originally used to assist wounded soldiers up rivers and streams in WWII. I imagine she did us proud in her time on the sea and she now rests in a museum of sorts being restored faithfully by the good work of the Restoration Society that I am a proud member of {puff chest insert here !} You will be able to view this ship coming up mid year and closer to the day I will be giving out those details so stay tuned. In the meantime I hope you enjoy her and the shoot as much as I did x and a BIG THANKYOU to Nicola and Kendall who volunteered to be my models on the day.

On this particular day I was a very spoilt photographer, I was literally drooling over the locations that were served up to me by this lovely couple, I mean seriously, a stunning kitsch farm on the hinterland with views out to sea {tee hee hence the name Seaview Farm!} that was entree, for main course and desert we travelled to the stunning Albert River Winery. A lovely scenic drive through the country and this venue did not dissapoint, gorgeous paddocks with cows grazing only to stop and stare as I parked my car to get a shot of the winery in the distance. The only thing that tested me was mother nature that day when she decided that it should rain and we literally had 20 mins from wo to go to get the formal shots in the can. I simply must be spoilt rotten again I need to shoot at these venues once again pretty please !? Enjoy x

Jesse and Rachel are a very talented duo called Daisy Dukes { not to be confused with the dukes of hazard !} although looking at these gorgeous girls I am sure they cause a lot of hazard when they go out to perform. Not only gorgeous to look at but very talented musically, you’ve gotta love Jesse’s aqua coloured guitar, heck I would buy one just to carry around so I could look cool too !!! { well, okay maybe not .. I would become unstuck if someone asked me to strum a tune…I can’t even hum a tune lol !} All things aside I just want to thank the girls for the opportunity to capture their commercial promo shoot here on the Gold Coast and I wish them all the success xx

This post is coated with sugar and spice and all things nice, because you see Naomi is a dear friend of mine, and when she asked me to do her family portrait for her I was so honoured. Naomi has been my daughters kindy teacher and those days I hold very close to my heart, it was a special time in our lives and Naomi was there lovingly looking after my precious girl. She is the best kindy teacher and a very lovely, warm and bright person, also a very talented artist in her own right painting beautiful pictures crafted from her very own hands {now that is real talent!} Your a gorgoues mum Naomi with 3 beautiful children and we miss you and those kindy days but now we have a photo of you too to remember forever xx

Don’t be distracted by the beautiful flowering Jacarandas which compliment the landscape so nicely but instead see a daddy entranced by his gorgeous baby girls spell, he lovingly helped change outfits and ran to fetch whatever it was this baby girl needed…wrapped around her gorgeous little chubby baby fingers her spell had worked its magic on her daddy, you could say he was bewitched ! Enjoy as this session and this gorgeous family will remain in my memory forever xx

What better way to celebrate two amazing milestones than with a family portrait shoot, you see Heidi had lost an amazing amount of weight {insert HUGE air punch here !! } and having been married for 10 years {insert BIG smile here !!}. See I told you two very good excuses and of course Heidi looks utterly fantastic but then I think she is naturally pretty anyway and would look great no matter what . Throughout the shoot her gorgeous husband had a look of utter pride on his face for his two special girls.
